Auckland dog walking
Every Monday to Friday morning and lunchtime, we pick up a friendly, social, mixed group of dogs to walk. Dogs of all ages and requirements.
We head off to a dog friendly environment, which could be a beach, forest, track or park, and together we play, walk, socialise, swim, dig holes, and be dogs!!
Your dog will be away from home for approx 2-3 hours, and they are fully supervised throughout.
All dogs must be at desexed (unless too young) registered, vaccinated, microchipped. They must have reliable recall and know the basics.
1 walk per week $45 +GST
2+ walks per week $40 +GST
Please note: Due to the nature of this work, we have limited places and it is important that we choose dogs that will work well with the group. If you would like to be considered, the first action is to make a time for us to meet your dog!

Auckland Dog Walking FAQ
There are many methods of group dog walks under the umbrella name “pack walks”. They may be structured (on lead) or unstructured, force-based or force-free, and may or may not include positive reinforcement.
Auntie Kims’ pack walks for dogs are defined by:
- limited numbers
- mainly small to medium dogs of mixed ages and breeds
- dogs for whom one hour of moderate exercise is enough for the day
- hand-picked locations where our dogs can enjoy supervised play and exercise off-lead.
Our groups develop slowly, to ensure all dogs are happy and comfortable with each other. It is essential that they enjoy each other's company and trust and listen to the pack leader.
When we get to our pack walk locations, each dog is able to choose their own adventure according to their personality. Some dogs like to do zoomies, and some want to sniff and explore. We know what each dog enjoys, so we encourage them to experience as much as possible in their hour of fun and freedom.
We offer dog walking / pack walks for dogs in Auckland, for dogs who live in Grey Lynn, Kingsland, Freemans Bay, Herne Bay, Ponsonby, Westmere & Point Chevalier.
The process for acceptance to the pack includes:
Personality: We only accept dogs that will not cause problems in the group, we will learn more about their nature and personality when meeting them, and chatting with their human.
Behaviour: We choose dogs that are socialised with good recall.
Balance: We create balance by mixing the right number of females & males, ages and energy levels.
Once a dog has been accepted and has had some successful trial walks, they can become officially part of a pack! They learn each other's addresses and there is genuine excitement as we pull up to each house and their buddies jump in the van.
