Ollie is a rare medium breed. She is a Stabyhoun – Dutch (5th rarest in the world). She is 12 years old and currently resides near Wellington.
Ollie is desexed and microchipped. Due to her age her hearing has slightly declined, she suffers from arthritis in her front legs, and incontinence. Both of these are managed with medication, which will cost $130 per month for both meds – Propalin is .5ml/day & Previcox – 1/2 tablet every 2nd day. The new owner must be comfortable with these costs. Ollie currently has a diet of kibble and wet food twice a day.
Ollie is a lovely submissive dog, very gentle, relaxed and sensitive. She loves company but not clingy. Ollie likes dipping in water but not full swimming. She can be stubborn at times. She loves her daily walk, 40-60 mins walking not running is best. Ollie is still active but low to medium energy. She is great on and off lead, and will heal at your feet while walking off lead, she also knows a few commands and tricks.
Ollie is fine with other dogs but will ignore them mostly. She is also fine with cats and kids. Ollie will need a groom every 6 weeks, she has very fine hair and will need some extra brushing at home to prevent any matting.
